Infectious Disease Physician

My name is Taylor Kennedy with Protouch Staffing. Our client in Northern Michigan is looking for Internal Medicine MD / DO for Infectious Disease coverage. Here are the details :

Dates of coverage : Two weeks / month ASAP

REQUIRED AVAILABILITY : 12 consecutive days monthly. On call Monday-Sunday the first week (inpatient), and then M-F the second week in the outpatient clinic

Shift description : 1 week inpatient (includes call) then 1 week outpatient; call schedule 1 : 4

I take care of travel, lodging, malpractice insurance and 1099 pay, plus on-call pay and pager fee.

• Practice setting : Inpatient / outpatient infectious disease
• Average 60% inpatient, 40% outpatient
• Age range : all ages
• Average number of clinic patients / day : varies
• Average number of outpatient patients / day : 15 or so
• ID Physicians present during assignment : 3 peers
• Documentation System / EMR : Cerner / powerchart
• Lab / X-ray on site - yes
• Ancillary staff : 1 APP, 1 LPN, 1 front staff, 1 manager
