Certified Nursing Assistant

Schedule :

• Start Date : February 10, 2025
• Shift : Day, 5x8-hour shifts (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM), Monday through Friday
• Duration : 10 weeks
• Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required
• Holiday Coverage : RequiredResponsibilities :
• Assist perioperative services in providing patient care across various age groups : pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Support the surgical team with pre- and post-operative patient needs
• Float PRN to other perioperative service units as required
• Ensure safety and infection control standards are followedRequirementsQualifications :
• Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience : Preferred experience in acute care, skilled nursing, hospice, home healthcare, behavioral health, or related settings
• Skills : Competency in patient care assistance, including 1 : 1 sitter experience, is a plusRequirements :
• Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Completion of YouLearn Safety Fair and Infection Control competencies prior to floor assignmentBenefitsCompensation :
• Base Pay Rate : $27.00 / hour
• Overtime after 12 hours / day and 60 hours / weekAdditional Details :
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• No on-call requirements
