Position Description

Position Duties / Responsibilities

• You will install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuit, systems, controls, and equipment associated with aircraft launch and recovery systems equipment aboard naval vessels and shore stations.
• You will determine and place distribution panels, boxes, fittings, and connections and install wiring, couplings, conduit, relays, fixtures, and other electrical devices including electrical service entrances.
• You will instruct and assist other Voyage Repair Team employees in the fabrication, assembly, repair and testing of ship's electrical equipment in shop, ship, and field environments.
• You will work from wiring diagrams, manuals, handbooks, and technical directives.
