Position Description : Drilling Logger

Location : Mobile, AL

Pay Rate : $25 / hour

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Drilling Logger to join our team. The Drilling Logger is responsible for documenting and recording subsurface conditions during drilling operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate data collection and supporting project decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Record and log subsurface conditions and drilling progress in real-time

Identify, classify, and describe soil, rock, and other materials encountered

Collect and label soil and rock samples accurately

Maintain detailed drilling logs, including depths, samples, and observations

Ensure accuracy and completeness of daily reports and field documentation

Work closely with drillers, engineers, and project managers to support project goals

Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in drilling, geotechnical, or construction industries preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Ability to work outdoors in varying field conditions

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Must pass background check and drug screen
