job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor’s Degree in Engineering required Must speak English / Korean fluently Must possess a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a production engineer Work experience in high volume manufacturing Understanding of design and production costs Good communication skills with team to promote ideas and support ILJIN’s image as a technical leader Work in a fast-paced team environment to ensure that all tactics are completed in a consistent and cohesive manner and support the team’s direction Understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems, PLC programming and electrical / mechanical systems Understanding operation of CNC grinder and Turning machine, Super finishing machine, assembly machine and broaching machine, milling machine and hand tools Health, Dental & Vision 401(k) Housing Assistance Program
Responsibilities
- Fabricate replacement and new parts for facility machinery.
- Fabricate, erect, install, and maintain facility machinery.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery.
- Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Program PLC's.
- Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts.
- Maintain and secure work tools.
- Clean and maintain work area. (5S)
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Total Inventory Reduction for parts
- Perform all functions in a safe manner per protocol
