Salary : $20 / day + Commission

Code2College is dramatically increasing the number of minority and low-income high school students who enter and excel in STEM undergraduate majors and careers and is looking to hire a Business Development Representative (BDR) Analyst to support its mission.

This position is based in a home office in the Central Texas / Austin metro area. This position is available immediately.Travel up to 20% is expected.

This position is a 1099 Contractor position.

OVERVIEW

As Business Development Representative (BDR) Analyst, you will focus on both business development and fundraising activities to bolster the resources and network of Code2College.

Specifically, the BDR Analyst will :

  • Primary Responsibility) Raise critical funds from newly initiated partnerships and funding sources (i.e. not from recurring / existing Code2College funders)
  • Identify prospective companies and key contacts to join the Code2College high school internship employer network
  • Engaging with the existing network of Code2College prospective donors to source and secure recurring donations
  • Provide thoughtful marketing analyses to further refine marketing and outreach strategy

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree
  • Experience working with individuals at senior levels of business and industry, demonstrating comfort with collaboration and coordination of relationships with decision makers and influencers of organizations
  • Demonstrated capacity to take initiative and manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication, project management and time management skills
  • High level of comfort taking and implementing frequent feedback to improve the work

  • Authorization to work in the United States required
  • WHAT WE OFFER

    Code2College offers a competitive payment structure for this role :

    Daily Rate

  • 20 / day (must have logged at least 4 hours between 9a - 6p on a weekday)
  • Performance Based Compensation

    NOTE : All commissions paid out in the subsequent quarter from close

These students often lack access to some of the most in-demand careers and technical industries. Further, the absence of opportunity to explore these areas through exposure to industry professionals, technical skills development, and at-bats to practically apply these skills has led to the dearth of diverse technical talent that we see today. We believe that through our approach to education, exposure, and experience, we can enhance student preparation for rigorous, technical careers and mitigate some of the key factors around STEM attrition. Code2College has served over 5,000 students since 2016 and we plan to have served over 10,000 students by 2030.
