Guide our Agile development teams to success as a Scrum Master, facilitating collaboration, removing obstacles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The nature of the work as a Scrum Master, facilitating collaboration, removing obstacles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, is focused in ensuring the effective application of Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products within established timelines. Responsibilities include Scrum Facilitation : Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices. Collaboration : Foster collaboration within and between cross-functional teams, promoting communication and transparency. Facilitate discussions and decision-making to drive project success. Obstacle Removal : Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder team progress. Proactively address challenges to ensure the team can deliver value without disruptions. Continuous Improvement : Instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Encourage reflection, feedback, and the adoption of best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Metrics and Reporting : Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics. Provide visibility into the team's performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog. Ensure alignment between business goals and development efforts. Training and Coaching : Provide training and coaching on Agile principles and practices. Mentor team members in the adoption of Agile methodologies and help them grow in their roles.

Responsible for guiding the development of an agile team into an effective delivery unit with a sustainable cadence

Responsible for ensuring the teams process evolves within organizational guidelines and standards of practice

Must be able to nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring

Facilitate project team meetings, project road-mapping sessions, gather feedback by presenting to all levels of leadership

Encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the team, its products and processes

Excellent communicator, able to gain the respect of the team, external stakeholders, and management

Able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation

Must be willing and able to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and then facilitate quick resolution

Facilitate agile activities and meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives and sprint reviews

Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed

Ensure cross-team coordination

Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal

Maintain relevant metrics that provide organizational visibility and help the team see how they are doing
