Natalie Lue with Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Coordinator.
We are recruiting for a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator in San Francisco, California. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing while providing exceptional support to employees. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and knowledgeable about payroll systems and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Review and verify weekly timesheets for non-exempt employees, addressing any discrepancies or missing entries.
- Ensure the accurate setup of new hires across all systems and update records as needed.
- Validate payroll system configurations for international employees to ensure compliance.
- Monitor and process 401k changes, loan repayments, and contributions, coordinating with plan administrators.
- Provide timely support to employees, resolving payroll-related questions and concerns.
- Assist in tax reconciliations, year-end preparations, and audits for worker’s compensation and retirement plans.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance team efficiency and the overall payroll function.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll preparation, processing, reporting, and benefits administration using integrated HR / payroll systems; experience in detail-oriented industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience managing multi-state and international payrolls.
- Ability to take initiative and contribute effectively to team goals.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees.
