MINIMUM 1-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A QUALITY CONTROL ROLE WITHIN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT

Connect Staffing is seeking to hire a Quality Technician for a beverage manufacturing company in the city of San Bernardino.

Shift : Monday through Friday 1 : 00pm - 9 : 30pm

  • Flexibility with OT is required

Requirements of the Quality technician :

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean background and Drug Test
  • Familiarity with SQF, SAP, Six Sigma, GMP, and other relevant standards and regulations preferred.
  • Must have a strong understanding of food safety requirements.
  • Ability to operate measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM machines) preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand the metric system.
  • Experience in a food or beverage laboratory setting is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Quality Control Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, Laboratory Technician, Food Safety Technician, or similar roles is a plus.

  • Responsibilities for Quality Technician :

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety, food quality, sanitation, and batching systems across production lines.
  • Perform chemical and physical analysis on raw materials, finished batches, and packaging materials to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct audits on finished products and packaging integrity to ensure they meet customer and regulatory standards.
  • Perform process control checks on equipment (e.g., seal, closure torque, can seam) to maintain proper operation.
  • Stop production immediately if food safety concerns arise and alert management to resolve the issue.
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests and inspections, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory reporting requirements.
