Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine Physician

Job Opportunity : Neonatologist in Wichita, Kansas

Join a well-respected and established Neonatology practice in Wichita, KS. This is an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist looking for an evolving Quality Improvement (QI) team-based management role. With a Level-III, 60-bed NICU that supports around 6,000 deliveries each year, you will be part of a dedicated 8-physician team at Wesley Medical Center, offering an enriching environment for professional growth and patient care.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide full-time coverage as a BC / BE Neonatologist.
• Participate in an 8-physician team with a rotating schedule of 8 and 24-hour shifts.
• Deliver approximately 170 hours of in-house service per month.
• Offer in-house call and backup call from home.
• Manage patients in a busy, well-equipped NICU with an average daily census of 54.
• Collaborate with residents and nurse practitioners.
• Engage in extensive QI and research opportunities affiliated with KU School of Medicine Wichita.
• Open to recent fellowship graduates who are already board certified in Pediatrics.
