Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager opportunity for a law firm in Ft. Lauderdale!

Location : On site - Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301 - After training, work 1 day per week remotely

Salary : Based on experience - $60,000-$85,000 range

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and team leadership? We’re seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join our Cypress Creek office and oversee the firm’s AP process. In this role, you’ll lead daily AP operations, ensure vendor payments are handled seamlessly, and collaborate across departments to support the firm’s financial success.

What You’ll Do :

Supervise and provide guidance to Accounts Payable staff

Manage vendor relationships and ensure contracts are paid on time

Communicate activities and updates to the Controller

Develop, implement, and maintain AP policies and procedures

Manage projects including 1099 preparation and other tax-related items

Maintain accurate records (system and physical)

Reconcile credit cards and process payments

Collaborate with accounting team members on payables, billing, and collections

What We’re Looking For :

4+ years of high-volume AP experience with 2+ years in a management role

Legal accounting experience required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Experience with Chrome River / Emburse and Elite-3E strongly preferred
