We offer sign-on bonuses for eligible full-time roles : $7,500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with a year of experience, and $5,000 for those with less than one year of experience who are licensed in South Carolina. We also provide $1,800 in student tax-free loan repayment annually and have relocation assistance available for those moving to the state.

Management Structure
This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.
Minimum Requirements
A graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or eligible for licensure in South Carolina. Senior students graduating in the next three months are welcome to apply.
Required Certifications
A valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in South Carolina or eligibility for licensure is needed, along with BLS certification. NBRC credentials must be maintained. Employees hired before June 2016 may be Certified Respiratory Therapists. Those hired from June 2016 onwards must pass the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam at the Registered Therapist cut score and take the Clinical Simulation Exam within six months of graduation; failure to do so will result in termination from Prisma Health.
NRP and PALS certifications are required in the Children's Hospital before working independently in NICU and PICU.
Other Required Skills and Experience
Ability to work effectively within a team setting is essential. Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills are required.
