A leading hospital chain is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their Inpatient Rehab / Acute Care team. As Flu season ramps up, so will the need for OTs. This role is ideal for a therapist who is willing and able to travel to the Waco location (Food, travel, & housing expenses compensated via stipend).
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy treatment plans based on functional needs.
- Provide hands-on therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills.
- Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans and goals accordingly.
- Complete thorough and timely documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, and billing.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary medical teams.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and home care strategies.
What You Need
