Job Description :
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Electrical Foreman to lead commercial electrical projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews, preplan work, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget . The Foreman will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality control across all job sites.

Key Responsibilities :
- Project Supervision & Leadership :
Lead and manage a crew of apprentices, journeymen, and laborers on commercial construction projects.?
Delegate tasks based on individual strengths and experience levels.?Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.?Ensure work meets quality standards and all safety regulations.?Technical Expertise :Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs with minimal supervision.?
Ensure all work adheres to the latest NEC (National Electrical Code), state, and local codes.?Conduct jobsite inspections and proactively resolve any issues.?Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to plan work effectively.?Jobsite Coordination & Communication :Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and General Contractors to keep projects on track.?
Preplan workflow for the project and crew 2 weeks to a month in advance to optimize efficiency and productivity.Prepare material and equipment orders ahead of time, providing 2-week lookaheads for the Project Manager to ensure seamless workflow and prevent delays.Coordinate subcontractors and other trades to ensure seamless jobsite operations.?Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and compliance reports.?Safety & Compliance :Enforce company and OSHA safety protocols, ensuring a hazard-free jobsite.?
Train and mentor team members on proper safety practices.?Conduct safety meetings and daily job briefings to assess potential risks.?Ensure lockout / tagout procedures and electrical safety standards are followed.?Training & Development :Provide hands-on training to apprentices and journeymen, fostering professional growth.?
Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to improve efficiency.?Qualifications & Skills :
Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in NM and / or TX (Required)?Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial construction?Previous experience as a Foreman or Lead Journeyman on commercial projects?Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance?Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills?Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics ?Excellent communication and leadership skills?Strong understanding of electrical systems, panels, transformers, and motor controls ?OSHA 30 Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)?Work Environment & Physical Demands :
Work is performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.?Must be comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms .?Requires standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods.?Exposure to dust, dirt, grease, and possible electrical hazards .?
