We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer | ETL Analyst (APIs) to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this contract role, you will play a key part in integrating ERP systems and collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into actionable solutions. This position requires a strong technical background in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, as well as proficiency in API development and management.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement ETL processes to facilitate seamless data integration across systems.
• Collaborate with business users and external clients to gather and document ERP integration requirements.
• Develop and manage APIs, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python or similar to create efficient scripts for data processing.
• Work with PostgreSQL or comparable database systems to ensure accurate data recording and management.
• Conduct testing and validation of APIs, ensuring compliance with specifications and business needs.
• Partner with logistics and warehousing teams to align integration processes with operational goals.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for ETL workflows and API specifications.
• Assist in change management processes to support smooth transitions and system updates.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integration-related challenges.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development and API integration.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Unix scripting for data processing tasks.
• Strong knowledge of API gateways, development, and testing.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL or equivalent database systems.
• Solid understanding of JSON and its use in data exchange.
• Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, or contract logistics processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
