Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Java / AWS with 6-8 years of strong development, leadership, and production support expertise. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Java / MS technologies, AWS Cloud, REST / SOAP APIs, DevOps, and SQL scripting , while also demonstrating strong leadership in managing onsite / offshore teams and driving end-to-end solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead application development and production support across onsite / offshore teams.
• Design and develop REST / SOAP APIs and microservices using Java technologies.
• Leverage AWS Cloud services for scalable, secure solutions.
• Drive DevOps practices and automation initiatives across CI / CD pipelines.
• Implement BPM development using Camunda / Flowable.
• Write and optimize SQL scripts for data management and reporting.
• Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) for system health and performance management.
• Work with ServiceNow (CMDB) and JIRA for service management.
• Apply ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) effectively.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve support processes.
• Document technical architecture, integrations, and support transition from incumbent vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve L2 / L3 production issues.
• Plan and execute different types of maintenance : Adaptive, Perfective, Corrective, Preventative.
• Lead and guide offshore teams to ensure deliverables are met on time.
• Drive resolution on system restoration calls, collaborating with multiple IT groups.
