Embedded Engineer Supporting Next Gen Military Motor Control Systems
We have a new military contract and are seeking experienced Embedded Software Engineers to support development efforts. This role offers the potential for hybrid flexibility and is primarily a contract position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for motor control systems.
- Ensure compliance with DO-178 Design Assurance Level C standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet project milestones.
- Participate in design reviews, testing, and documentation processes.
- Support integration and validation of embedded systems in military-grade applications.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in embedded software development, particularly in motor control.Strong understanding of DO-178C compliance and safety-critical software practices.Familiarity with aerospace or defense industry standards.Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level hardware interfaces.Knowledge of C / C++ and embedded development tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with motor control design and motor controllers.Knowledge of aerospace standards and DO-178.Familiarity with embedded development tools.Work Environment
The position is onsite, with locations available in Elyria, OH, Akron, OH, and Mentor, OH. It offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for collaboration across engineering teams. The role may include hybrid flexibility depending on project needs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $63.00 / hr.
