Responsibilities

Participate in the improvement of the manufacturing process for existing products by conducting studies to stabilize, validate, or improve product and process capabilities.

Perform capability studies to identify problems, provide solutions, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Analyze defective products and processes to determine root causes of defects and provide input on corrective and preventive actions.

Perform internal and external audits on product and processes to ensure compliance with specifications.

Interact with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to drive improvement activities and ensure product and processes meet or exceed customer expectations.

Lead quality and customer complaint root cause investigations utilizing 8D methodology to resolve quality issues and eliminate problems from reoccurrence.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering (IATF is a plus)

Experience with PPAP and APQP processes

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

Knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00 / yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Carol Stream, IL.
