Position Description :

Lead financial services including management of accounting, reporting and forecasting for various assigned Headquarters (HQ) departments. Ensure business partners follow company financial policy and procedures, and communicate any potential profitability or risk to management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Lead monthly forecasting process for assigned HQ groups including auditing posted costs, working with department leaders to accurately forecast expected spend, updating forecasts in financial system monthly.
• Summarize and communicate financial results and recoveries monthly to Business Partners and Financial Manager (FM).
• Create and maintain cost models and forecasts for non-department costs including medical expenses, headcount related forecasts, and other ad hoc items.
• Maintain processes to monitor Capex & project spend, track company-level software costs, and audit recoveries across multiple process functions.
• Monitor processes and review forecasts to predict budget risks early and efficiently; collaborate with business leaders on solutions.
• Serve as a leader in developing a yearly HQ General and Administrative Expense (G&A)
• Manage end of month journal entries and inter-company charges.
• Ensure all activities, journal entries, reporting, etc. are compliant with company financial policies.
• Coordinate quarterly and month-end close processes.
• Process invoices and resolve all accounts payable calls with vendors.
• Conduct month end salary review and prepare salary transfers for Business Center allocation.
• Responsible for cash management including bank reconciliations and releasing checks.
• Responsible for cash position reporting with respect to net assets, liabilities, and unfunded work in place, communicate any potential risks or profitability to HQ department.
• Conduct cost analysis reconciliation for HQ non-departmental expenses.
• Assist with all internal and external audit requests.
• Coordinate preparation of financial reports, special analyses and informational reports for department. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

salary range for New York City candidates for this position is estimated

to be $112,000 - 140,000 annualized.
