Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of the company for patients visiting for routine or critical health diagnostics. This role involves drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing while maintaining strict standards for confidentiality and professionalism. The PSR II fosters trust with patients and communicates procedures clearly and compassionately. Work locations may include physician offices, patient service centers, or others based on business need. Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under the supervision of the area lead
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff
  • Collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens per established procedures
  • Verify patient demographic details post-collection to confirm correct labeling
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Travel to multiple locations as needed with minimal notice
  • Alert supervisor to fabrication or shipping delays
  • Adhere to company dress code, health and safety protocols, and guiding principles

Required Experience :

  • Three () years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • High-volume setting or patient service center experience preferred
  • Prior customer service experience in a retail or service environment
  • Data entry and keyboard proficiency
  • Nice-to-Have Experience :

  • In-office phlebotomy or mobile specimen collection experience
  • Multi-site travel or on-call experience
  • Required Skills :

  • Excellent phlebotomy technique, including pediatric and geriatric
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Superior customer focus and clear communication
  • Ability to make sound decisions using established procedures
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Flexible for weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Comfortable in high-volume environments
  • Adaptability to change and openness to new procedures
