The ideal candidate must live near or be willing to relocate to the Melbourne, Fl area. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

POSITION SUMMARY

Director of IT will oversee the strategic, operational, and technical aspects of the organization's information technology department. This role requires a seasoned leader with a minimum 10 years' of director-level or higher experience in a healthcare setting. The Director of IT will plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. The Director of IT will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in the field of computer science or information systems
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience within healthcare information technology required
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience with EMR / EHR and associated systems required
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory / management experience required
