Job Summary / Purpose

This position is responsible for managing capital projects that exceed the $100M level with or without Customer Focus. This includes providing leadership and direction to company and / or contract crews ensuring they are aware of and always utilize the capital project process which includes safe work practices and procedures.

Accountable for monitoring and coordinating T&D line and Substation construction activities including those performed by contractors, vendors and employees.

Visit job sites in all types of weather conditions, terrain, and states around the Entergy system. Ensure work is performed in a safe manner while meeting construction specifications. Ensures that the projects are staffed with qualified construction management professionals and field personnel for the effective oversight of construction contractors and their subcontractors.

Be on site and assists the EPC partner / contractor in developing safe work plan and support the execution of construction activities. Shall possess the ability to quickly understand the culture of construction as well as mentoring / coaching others in the field executing construction activities.

A passionate advocate for safety who promotes an incident free workplace and helps cultivates a safe work culture. Understands the foundations for a strong safety culture in its most genuine form and actively participates in safety initiatives at the project site to demonstrate commitment.
