This role is available at any location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the best candidates.

Base pay range : $102,900.00 / yr - $135,075.00 / yr

In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, our team delivers cost-effective and transformative projects to markets including specialty chemical, electric vehicle, manufacturing, metals, pulp and paper, and more. We design strategies tailored for every market and location to achieve client success.

Were looking for an experienced, high-energy HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work with engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients and vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.

Youll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Youll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to meet client needs. Well support you with what you need to be successful. Highlights of your contributions will include :

• Layout and design of HVAC systems
• Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements
• Development of final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water
• Coordination with other disciplines

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $135,075.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors including skills, experience, and education or training.
