MDS RN - The Laurels of Pender

Compensation : $15,000 sign-on bonus for a full-time MDS RN.

MDS Nursing at The Laurels of Pender offers a rewarding career where you can remain clinically involved in patient care without being a bedside nurse. You will work autonomously, managing your own work with efficiency and organization.

Responsibilities

• Work the RAI process and conduct assessments and care plan coordination for residents assigned.
• Complete the MDS, CAAs and care plans within regulated time frames.
• Assess residents through physical assessment, interview and chart review.
• Discuss resident care needs with care givers, including physician, nursing, social services, therapy, dietary, and activity staff.
• Review information from hospital, consults and outside agencies and use it in the completion of the assessment and care planning.

Coordinate, identify, and / or initiate significant changes MDS.
