Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of operational workflows. Strong documentation skills. Ability to lead small to medium size projects related to clinical systems implementations / optimizations. Advanced knowledge in multiple clinical IT systems, including systems configuration, customization, and optimization. Ability to lead medium to large size projects related to clinical systems implementations / optimizations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with department resources and management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including cross-functional teams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills during project phases. Compliance with project management methodologies and quality assurance standards. Contributes to project risk management and mitigation strategies. Provides mentorship and leadership to junior analysts. Stays current with skills and emerging industry trends. Mastery of clinical systems and their role in clinical operations. Ability to lead large scale project implementations Knowledgeable of clinical systems integrations with other technologies. Excellent communication and collaboration with clinical leadership, executive management, and external vendors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team including cross-functional teams, and external departments. Ability to lead and mentor junior members of the department. Strategic thinking and alignment of clinical systems with organizational goals. Thought leadership in healthcare IT trends and innovations. Knowledge of emerging technologies and project management methodologies.
Summary
- The IT Clinical Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting of clinical IT systems and applications within a healthcare organization. The role involves working to develop and deploy clinical IT systems and applications – managing the implementation process and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly. The Clinical Systems Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues.Epic Radiant is Epic's radiology management solution
