Building Maintenance Engineer

Maintain mechanical rooms and related equipment. Perform maintenance repairs and testing of complex building systems and their controls including utilizing Building Automation Systems for adjustments and repairs. Responsible for maintaining building appearance and condition. Must have excellent mechanical aptitude to perform preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repair of building and building systems. May require on call hours. A customer service mindset is a must.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (5) years experience in building / industrial maintenance including troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical and electrical the drivers license requirement noted below must have a driving record acceptable to Risk Management.

Required Credentials

Obtain Washington State drivers license within 3 months of hire dateNFPA 70E within 3 months of hire date

Preferred

Washington State EL07 Maintenance Electrician. Washington State Electrical Trainee (2) years trade school in Building / Industrial Refrigeration Operating Engineer LicenseMedGas 6040 Quick Study within 3 months of hire dateUST Class C within 3 months of hire date

Compensation Range

$42.69 - $64.03 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
