Medical Receptionist

Pinnacle GI Partners is hiring a Medical Receptionist to support our fast-growing offices in Rochester Hills and Macomb. Ideal candidates will have medical front office experience, strong people skills, and a patient-first mindset.

The Medical Receptionist will report directly to the Office Manager.

Some of your responsibilities in this role :

• Answers the telephone, triages call appropriately and takes messages when needed
• Schedules Telehealth visits and acts as a support for this function
• Manages an inbox for patient refill request
• Answers questions as able, referring clinical questions to RNs or Clinical Coordinator
• Completes all necessary insurance information for refill request
• Performs bookkeeping tasks and / or assists as required with authorizations
• Schedules follow-up appointments, outpatient procedures and tests and makes referrals to physicians as necessary
• Confirms patient procedure appointments
