SpendMend is looking for a Full-Time Contract Compliance Analyst to join our growing team.

The Contract Compliance Analyst reviews clients’ purchase contracts to identify adherence to key terms and conditions, performs research, and gathers supporting documentation to resolve any contract discrepancies with the vendors directly.

This role is perfect for a self-starting, results oriented individual with a vendor purchase contract background (hospital supply chain or GPO), who is looking to make significant contributions to a growing service line within our industry and organization.

Requirements :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Analyzes vendor purchase contracts and identifies key terms and conditions to identify risks and opportunities
  • Cleans, enhances, prepares and analyzes data for review
  • Research and gather supporting data from multiple sources including ERP systems, vendor contracts, etc.
  • Communicate with vendors resolving contract discrepancies
  • Prepare presentations of findings and participate in strategic planning
  • Ad hoc reporting

Requirements / Qualifications :

  • Hospital Supply Chain Sourcing or Hospital GPO pricing and auditing experience
  • 1-2 years relevant experience (accounting, finance, procurement, contract management) and / or
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or similar skill set
  • Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge and ability in the MS Office suite particularly with Excel and Access.
  • General understanding of contracts, specifically terms & conditions and ability to identify risks when they are not followed.
  • Data manipulation experience with strong attention to detail
  • Must be analytical with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Must be professionally minded and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
