About The Position
We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana, starting Jan 5, 2026. This position features a week on / week off schedule, 24-hour call from home, providing coverage across inpatient pediatric care, ED consults, and newborn couplet care with NNP support.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide care for a inpatient pediatric floorConduct emergency department consults for pediatric patientsDeliver newborn couplet care in collaboration with neonatal nurse practitionersNo responsibility for nursery call or rounds; NICU coverage handled separatelyAdditional Information
Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine required (board eligible not accepted)Valid Louisiana license or active IMLC requiredMust have at least 6 months of recent clinical experience in pediatric hospital medicineClinical activity within the past year requiredCompletion of prescreen questionnaire and CV in MM / YYYY format with all gaps explained is mandatoryBenefits
