ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage and direct in house and overseas engineering / drafting staff to develop submittal and process drawings for commercial millwork and casework fabrication
  • Maintain schedules on drawing production to meet contractual commitments
  • Conduct group drawing reviews with associated managers and ownership for quality and accuracy.
  • Define, implement and maintain tools and methodology to support drawing quality and production
  • Manage and maintain software updates and licenses
  • Provide technical support and training to the department related to procedure, methodology, and manufacturing standards
  • Maintain document archive and retrieval for past projects
  • Work closely with the Project teams to debug problems and resolve issues.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years engineering experience in architectural millwork manufacturing.
  • High proficiency in Autocad
  • Experience with Microvellum required
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and operations
  • Knowledge of AWS manufacturing and materials standards
  • Proven ability to provide training to staff on new tools and features.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must be self-motivated and team oriented.
  • Must be comfortable with a deadline driven schedule.
  • Must have strong time management capabilities.
