1. Valid California teaching credential authorizing service in area of assignment
2. Five years of successful classroom teaching experience
3. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
4. Experience working with diverse learners in English Language Arts and / or Mathematics
5. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
6. Specialized training in reading / language arts, math and / or English Language Development (ELD) preferred
7. Experience providing professional development to staff and / or implementation of the coaching cycle.

JOB GOAL : To provide professional development, coaching, and support for teachers in literacy, math and / or ELD methodology and effective strategies; to guide and support the Professional Learning Community; assist teachers by modeling literacy and early intervention strategies in the classroom; to provide training and support for teachers in navigating the curriculum and planning reading / language arts, math and / or ELD instruction
