The role you'll contribute :

The Patient Care Supervisor (PCS) is accountable for administrative supervision of the hospital during the evening, weekends, and designated holidays hours. The PCS is responsible for acting as a role model for the vision and values of Shawnee Mission Medical Center. S / he is accountable for working within the parameters of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, established policies, protocols and procedures; and utilizes other pertinent references as guidelines for clinical practice. The PCS collaborates with patients, families, physicians and associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient focused / healing environment. PCS is accountable for administering, supervising and / or coaching this process to strengthen the accountable work team.
