About The Position
The Engineer performs engineering studies, design, and project management activities for new and existing power generation plant systems. This position has primary responsibility for supporting Missouri Regulated Generation Non-Nuclear plants with travel required.
Key responsibilities include :
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required.
Preferred skills :
Electrical or Mechanical
Five years of engineering experience
PE License or PMP certificate
Experience managing, supervising, or leading people
Experience with low / medium / high voltage electrical equipment, including but not limited to switchgear, MCCs, motors, transformers, buses, etc.
Experience with protective relaying preferred
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate :
Must possess excellent analytical, communication, computer, human relations, and leadership skill. Travel between power plants and the EDPM and outside of the St. Louis area required. Subject to call-outs, nights, weekends and / or holiday work to support power plants.
Additional Information
This position may require travel to Ameren Energy Centers within Ameren's service territory to support project work. May include day or overnight travel. Subject to occasional call-outs, nights, weekends, and / or holiday work to support energy centers.
Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and / or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
Compensation Range :
69,300.00 - $210,000.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
