We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Pearl River, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in managing payroll operations for a large workforce across multiple locations. This position offers a dynamic environment where attention to detail and expertise in payroll systems are essential.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and process payroll for approximately 800 employees, including hourly, salaried, and commission-based staff.
- Manage payroll operations across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to maintain employee records and execute payroll tasks efficiently.
- Handle multi-state payroll processing, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and documentation to support payroll audits and financial analysis.
- Implement procedures to streamline payroll processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Address additional payroll responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational needs.
- Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably for large organizations.
- Expertise in multi-state payroll management and compliance.
- Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations.
- Ability to handle payroll for a workforce ranging from 101 to 500 employees or more.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
