Ameresco is currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our Operations & Maintenance Team in Washington, DC.

First Shift Position

Monday - Friday 7am-3 : 30pm ET

Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems as they relate to building systems and all other equipment.
• Perform skilled maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting work involved with electrical systems in a number of areas including heating, refrigeration, motors, fire alarm, generator, and kitchen equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to determine efficient installation and repair.
• Diagnose causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of system repair.
• Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.
• Perform other duties as required.
