Family Medicine Physician w / OB Care

Dukes Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is seeking a full-time, board-certified Family Physician (MD or DO) to join our innovative, team-based practice in Durham, NC.

• Participate in inpatient obstetrics care with support from Duke OB / GYN and newborn nursery including :
• Call 1 day / week and 1 weekend / month for the family medicine continuity deliveries working with residents as first call
• Lead a team care for newborns at Duke Regional Hospital often working with APP and resident to round on all the babies in the full-term nursery
• Provide outpatient care including
• Cradle to grave primary care
• Opportunities to work clinically providing Centering Pregnancy and Parenting, prenatal care, some procedures, etc
• Practice at one of the largest primary care sites in the region , with :
• ~25,000 visits annually
• ~15,000 patient panel (50% commercial, 50% governmental)
• Group prenatal and well-child visits
