Mobile Flutter Engineer (NYC, Hybrid)

Were looking for a high-velocity Flutter Engineer to join our fast-growing NYC-based team and help shape the future of our consumer fintech product. As a core contributor, youll build beautiful, high-performance mobile experiences that are shipped to users weekly. This is a hybrid role requiring ~3 days / week in our NYC FiDi office.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and ship robust Flutter apps used by real customers
  • Architect scalable, reactive mobile systems with clean state management
  • Collaborate with design teams using Figma and modern component libraries
  • Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and cloud-native backends
  • Drive rapid iteration through A / B testing, CI / CD pipelines, and analytics
  • Contribute from day oneproduction code expected within your first week

What Were Looking For

  • 25 years of experience building and shipping Flutter consumer apps
  • Deep understanding of Dart, Flutter internals, and reactive programming
  • Strong grasp of mobile app architecture, design systems, and API integration
  • Experience working in high-growth, early-stage startups (Series AC)
  • Familiarity with AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway), Firebase, CI / CD
  • Bonus : exposure to fintech, trading, or brokerage systems
  • Bonus : experience with Next.js or React

    • You Should Also Be

  • A clear communicator of technical concepts and tradeoffs
  • A fast learner who thrives in product-first environments
  • Based in NYC and excited to collaborate in-office 3+ days / week
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude
