How you will create an impact

The AIG Workers' Compensation (WC) Major Case Unit (MCU) is a group of well trained and highly dedicated claim professionals with an average of 26 years WC claim handling experience. We take a collaborative approach in handling large, complex, and catastrophic claims. Team members excel from sharing each other's strengths and experiences. This position provides the opportunity to engage / work with senior claim and underwriting management, and for growth within the company. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in handling and directing high valued, complex WC claims involving serious injuries, catastrophic losses and / or complicated litigation. Includes reserving, negotiating, strategizing, litigating and final disposition of assigned claims.

What you will need to succeed

• Minimum 8 years Workers' Compensation claim handling experience including CA and AZ claims and other jurisdictions. State adjuster's licenses are preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Technical claim handling and organizational skills
• Strong (oral / written) communication and interpersonal skills
