Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Leasing Consultant to support the operations at Hangar 128 Apartments , a 223-unit conventional apartment community in Everett, WA . This role requires strong sales and leasing skills, and is responsible for all aspects of leasing, including showing and leasing apartments through effective selling and closing techniques, processing applications, interacting with current and prospective residents and vendors, and promoting positive, proactive resident relations.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in all aspects of leasing, including touring, processing applications, answering phones, and managing inquiriesConduct property tours for prospective tenants through apartment community, units, and common areasDevelop strategies to attract prospective tenants, including follow-up on leads and hosting promotional eventsFoster a positive, active, and collaborative relationships with residents, employees, and associated agenciesCompletes resident move ins and move outs in compliance with company proceduresWork closely with property manager and maintenance teams to ensure seamless living experience for residentsMonitor local market conditions and competitor activities to provide insight that support effective leasing strategiesMaintains a high level of professionalism, integrity and respect when interacting with residents, team members, vendors, and community stakeholdersAttends and participates in professional activities, meetings, organizations, and regulatory agency meetings or inspectionsWorks to ensure that residents have a clean, safe, and well-maintained communityQualifications & Requirements :
1 year of experience as a leasing agent at a conventional multifamily community of 100+ unitsUnderstanding of affordable housing compliance and leasing proceduresStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and collaborate effectively with team membersExceptional time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle conflict resolution, complaints, and provide a high level of customer service tailored to the community demographicExperience with rent collection and delinquency managementBe able to identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the propertyAbility to deliver excellent customer service, including responsiveness to tenant needs and community engagementAbility to handle complaints and ensure community standards are upheldStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and local authoritiesMarketing and sales skills to promote vacant lots or homes and maintain high occupancy ratesProficiency in property management software (i.e., Manage America, CRM, Blue Moon, Rent Café, Vendor Café, Client Central)Must have a valid driver's licenseWhat Will Make You Stand Out :
