Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is hiring for a CNC Operator for a Waco, TX manufacturer.

Job Title : CNC Operator

Job Status : Full-Time

Job Location : Waco, TX 76710

Work Hours : Monday-Friday, 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Pay : $17.00 / hr

This worker will fit and weld angle frames and light structural steel, along with operating a CNC Machine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Read detailed drawings / blueprints
  • Load parts in jigs
  • Must read tape measure and use basic hand tools - squares, hammer, chisel, center punch, banding equipment, etc.
  • Set up and operated CNC machines according to specified guidelines and instructions.
  • Load raw materials into CNC machines and secure them for processing.
  • Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, precision, and adherence to specifications.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines for operating CNC machines, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Experience / Qualifications :

  • Basic Math Skills
  • Read a Tape Measure
  • Machine Operation-Ironworker, Press Brake, Hydraulic Punches, Air Tools, Grinders, Overhead Cranes & Jibs, Oxy-Acy Torch, etc.

    • Abilities / Physical Demands :

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. - loading pa1is to jig, loading welding wire on machines, carrying parts to workstation, etc.
  • This job requires frequent repetitive motion and may, at times, require bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling;
  • Good hand and eye coordination - welding, cutting, center-punching
  • Needs good upper body strength and lower back strength - able to reach out and work out of position
  • Finger dexterity and visual acuity are required since the worker will also be handling small parts;
  • Verbal Communication is important, so employees must be able to hear and speak;
  • Some exposure to noise, - hearing protection is provided,
  • The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental / weat
