Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualifiedto join our team. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will support our SaaS platform on AWS bringing deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) Helm Terraform AWS services and automation. The ideal candidate will own deployments end-to-end debug production issues under pressure and lead large-scale environment and data migrations.

Location : Remote (Canada)

Responsibilities

• Manage troubleshoot and optimize workloads on EKS; handle Helm-based deployments.
• Support and troubleshoot HA Postgres clusters (Patroni) including replication failover and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules for AWS networking compute and storage (Transit Gateway VPC endpoints IAM Security Groups).
• Design and troubleshoot IAM policies roles and RBAC permissions across AWS and Kubernetes.
• Debug and optimize EFS / EBS performance and availability issues.
• Write automation in Python and Bash to improve reliability and streamline infrastructure operations.
• Support GitLab CI / CD pipelines integrate security scanning (SAST / DAST Trivy SonarQube) and enforce best practices.
• Lead migration efforts for GitLab Harbor artifacts MinIO data and SaaS applications.
• Partner with SRE platform and application engineers to unblock teams and stabilize environments.
• Leverage AmazonQ or similar AI tools for faster troubleshooting and automation.
