JOB TITLE : Business Analyst JOB LOCATION : Springfield, MA Hybrid WAGE RANGE

  • 55 - 60 / hour Must be W2 JOB NUMBER 3634567 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, or enterprise reporting in a large corporate environment (financial services preferred)
  • Mastery-level expertise in business analytics, dashboard development, and tools like Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills; ability to translate complex business needs into intuitive reporting solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of presenting to executives and facilitating business use case discussions
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional analytics projects and deliver high-impact insights independently
  • Success in negotiating and influencing requirements across stakeholder groups
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments, including writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and using tools like Jira
  • Ability to document technical / business requirements, process flows, and test plans
  • Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • Experience mentoring analytics staff and coordinating with offshore teams
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future Ideal Qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with enterprise transformation initiatives
  • 5+ years of hands-on BI development using MicroStrategy, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills; experience in data modeling, semantic layer design, and financial data insights
  • Understanding of financial accounting systems, principles, and reporting processes
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • Familiarity with platforms like Clarity PPM, Workday, and financial / resource management systems
  • Exposure to Financial products and business processes (e.g., underwriting, new business) preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership in business analysis, including requirement documentation, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts and influencing cross-functional teams
