Job DescriptionJob Description PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS A REQUIREMENT. We are seeking a 3D Designer who will take part in 3D Scanning to become a part of our industrial engineering group! You will prepare detailed working drawings of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. You will be trained on the 3D scanning and the software used for this. Traveling is a requirement for this role! Job Description- 3D Designer Design and Draft Bulk material Handling devices. Create Fabrication Drawings as per ASME Y 14.5 standards. Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments Prior experience in the bulk material handling industry . Experience with formed sheet metal and machined parts design. Proficient in Inventor or any other CAD software. Familiarity with machine designs and production drawings Ability to read production drawings. Ability to work off hand sketches. Ability to communicate clearly and work alongside our team and also able to work independently with little to no instructions provided. 3D scanning training will be provided. 3D Scanning experience . Using our 3D scanner to efficiently scan and measure the necessary materials called for that specific job. Converting the scans taken into drawings. Must be meticulous and detail oriented. Work under tight deadlines to deliver high-quality projects. Maintain required project documentations and all documents to be sent to the correct recipients in a timely manner. Travel to work site locations required. Should not be afraid to get dirty, previous hands-on experience highly . Work Schedule : Office hours are 8 A.M. - 5 P.M. (Monday - Friday) With a minimum of 40 hours or more per week. May be required to come in early, stay late after business hours and work on the weekend to complete projects depending on business workload demand. Travel is required.
