What You Can Expect To Do

As a vital member of our veterinary support team, you will also assist veterinarians and technicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments while ensuring a safe, calm environment for patients. Your responsibilities will include obtaining accurate patient histories from clients, safely restraining animals during exams and procedures, and collecting diagnostic samples for in-house testing. You'll play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment by cleaning kennels and treatment areas, restocking supplies, and following proper sanitation and sterilization protocols. Compassion and professionalism are essential as you interact with clients, comfort patients, and collaborate with your team. Additional duties may be assigned to support the overall care and efficiency of the hospital.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidates are detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess strong clinical & communication skills. Additional qualifications include :

• Minimum of 1 year veterinary hospital experience
• Overnight availability required
• A love for animals and a passion for the veterinary field
• An ability to manage time and priorities with minimal direct supervision
• Punctuality and exceptional attendance
• A willingness to work non-traditional hours such as weekends, evenings, and a share of holidays
