General Adult or Child / Adolescent Psychiatry position 100% outpatient permanent position in Daytona Beach, FL area.

Summary

A large multi-specialty staff model HMO is seeking a BC / BE physician to join a newly remodeled facility located in Volusia County. Full-time, flexible days / hours, no weekends, outpatient only, no non-compete contract. This facility offers Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Diabetes Education, Endocrinology, Extended Hour Care Center, Neurology, Primary Care, Sports Medicine, X-ray, Lab, and Pharmacy all onsite.

Qualifications

MD / DO

BC / BE American Board of Psychiatry.

Current Florida license is a big plus, but group will consider candidates out of state as well.

Training in adult psychiatry or child psychiatry. Can do all ages or adults only depending on training and interests.

Group has an addiction clinic you can work in as well. Group has an addiction certified physician on staff.

Position Details

• Physician for a busy outpatient behavioral health department. Position is 100% focused on mental health and addiction issues.
• Team based approach, including full scope of support staff with tenured Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, LCSWs, LMHCs, Crisis Intervention team, Intensive Outreach program, and Addiction Services, Suboxone Clinic and Case Management.
• Full Time
• Outpatient only
• Limited call
• Monday Friday 8 am 5 pm.
