We are looking for an experienced Sr. Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient network solutions that support our organization's growth and operational needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, and security protocols. Based in Santa Ana, California, the successful candidate will play an integral part in ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance across all network systems.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement secure and scalable network solutions to facilitate seamless sharing of applications and resources across the organization.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to procure hardware, software, and services required for network operations.
• Analyze and resolve complex network issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Evaluate, test, and recommend advanced networking solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Mentor less experienced network administrators and engineers, fostering skill development and growth.
• Develop innovative strategies to integrate acquired companies into the organization's standard network technology stack.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and testing of network infrastructure to align with business objectives and industry standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and implement leading-edge solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Ensure the security of network systems by configuring firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, and access controls.
• Manage disaster recovery environments and contribute to business continuity planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Network Engineering role.
• Expert-level knowledge of IP routing protocols, such as BGP, and common switching methodologies.
• Proficiency in network security practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention, and segmentation.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, Meraki, and SD-WAN architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for addressing complex network issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
