Position Summary : As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining and controlling the general ledger accounts and supporting the vital operations of the Finance Department. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements and assisting with the preparation of complex monthly financial reports. You will serve as the primary point of contact for accounting-related issues and ensure adherence to internal controls while training and mentoring junior team members.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Utilize your strong accounting expertise to prepare journal entries by maintaining records and files, and prepare complex reconciliations for month-end close.
• Reconcile intricate balance sheet accounts for various financial statement categories.
• Assist in preparing the weekly Cash Forecast.
• Conduct weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations and provide problem-solving support to junior team members.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Collaborate with external auditors to support financial statement, SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits.
• Track Capital Expenditures and manage the depreciation schedule.
• Participate in internal control initiatives, including compliance with monthly control procedures and process documentation.
• Identify issues and propose solutions and opportunities for process enhancement across the team.
• Guide and contribute to complex cross-functional projects.

Pay Transparency : We consider various factors to determine your actual pay rate, including your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparisons to others in this role. In addition to base salary, certain roles may qualify for performance-based incentives and / or equity, depending on the position. These rewards are based on a mix of company performance and individual achievements. The hiring range for this position is : $72,800.00 - $97,400.00.
