  • Experience with information systems, database management, and pharmacy automation required.# Minimum 2 years# experience with clinical informatics required.# Minimum 3 years# experience as a Pharmacy Technician required. # A Brief Overview Responsible for the lead functional support of ambulatory pharmacy applications, processes and projects, along with understanding the technical functionality of the systems and processes for the Provider team at Regional One Health. Has direct responsibility for analyzing process re-engineering to more effectively utilize current systems# resources in support of the initiatives of the provider and pharmacy teams, ensures that the system is properly maintained and all ambulatory pharmacy business operation needs are met. Supports the functional and technical operation of all related pharmacy and medication systems, and leads the implementation of new systems, interfaces and updates systems for ambulatory pharmacy. Partners with ROH Leadership and customers to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. Builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules and maintains a systems orientation to work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. Serves as an application and technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists other subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Leads and supports upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. What you will do Coordinates, updates and monitors updated and current NDC medication pricing. Collaborates with information specialists and clinical personnel to perform testing of information across systems prior to updating and implementing. Assists in training and orientation of new pharmacy employees, residents, and students as necessary. Coordinate, monitor and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of pharmacy systems and associated equipment. Acts as a liaison to coordinate and implement pharmacy IT systems, applications, and services. Supports project manager to ensure products and services are delivered in accordance with goals and objectives. Provides guidance to staff involved with assigned projects. Assists with projects and works independently as related to new systems or upgrades to existing systems. Acts as resource for issue resolution within the outpatient system. Works with the appropriate teams to resolve systems issues and ensure prompt resolution. Will communicates as appropriate with functional leadership to ensure confidence in the issue resolution process. Establishes and implements short and long term strategies to deliver services to customers within reasonable schedules and budgets. Establishes and communicates goal and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks and activities and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for performing to personnel. Communicates broadly to help overall coordination for cross-functional teams. Maintains confidentiality in matters relating to patient / family, department and hospital information. Adheres to established department and organization policies (i.e. HIPAA, Confidentiality, and Compliance Policies). Interacts and communicates in a customer responsive and courteous manner, in compliance with Premier standards and promoting customer satisfaction. Adheres to established policies, compliance / quality improvement, and safety, environment and infection control standards. Maintains professional growth and development through in-services, continuing education, seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in pharmacy informatics. Participates in quality assurance related activities as necessary. Performing audits and creating reports for pharmacy staff to benefit patient care and charge / cost information?
