Welding Supervisor

What you’ll do as a Welding Supervisor :

Supervise and manage activities directly related to daily business and department needs

Effectively communicate daily schedules, goals, quality issues and concerns between shifts to ensure customer expectations are met

Provide mentoring, leadership, and direction to employees

Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensure quality products are produced and successfully achieve department metrics

Repair broken or damaged parts

Fabricate and revise fixtures, jigs, gauges, hand applies and special tooling and components

Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency

The successful Welding Supervisor will have :

Proven experience supervising in a shop environment.

Experience with steel, aluminum, and Invar 36

Experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux welding processes

Leadership style that’s firm but fair, with the ability to teach and motivate others

Flexibility to work 3 : 30 PM – 2 : 00 AM (extended or 5 PM – 5 AM during busy periods), lots of overtime available!

U.S. Person and eligibility for security clearance would be a plus.
