Registered Nurse (Contract)

@Orchard LLC has an urgent need for Registered Nurses (RN) to support the Veteran's Affairs Medical Centers (VA) in Glendale, CO. This is a care coordination role, working in the Office of Community Care, and is not a role requiring day-to-day in-person patient interaction.
- The core responsibilities will include;
- Clinically review consultations and requests for completeness and conduct utilization reviews.
- Disposition care in the community under utilization and other guidelines,
- Conduct clinical reviews of incoming medical records, documenting communication with the ordering providers and primary care physician (PCP).
- Conducted coordination of care with veteran community providers, internal providers, nurses, and other support staff to ensure the care and authorization of care were processed.
Your background will include'
Must be a Registered Nurse, having graduated from an approved institution, including state accreditation and the accreditation commission for education in nursing (ACEN), or the commission on collegiate nursing education (CCNE).Hold a current license in at least one State or the District of Columbia.Have a current Basic Life Support CertificationThis role is a 12-month initial contract on a W2 hourly basis with full benefits. Based on experience and qualifications, the likely hourly rate will range from $40-$45.
